Little Diomede Island Nutrient Survey

These files (links below under at Idi2000-2001 and Little Diomede 2003) are provided to show nutrient distributions near Little Diomede Island.  In these surveys we determined whether higher than background nutrient concentrations in Bering Strait were present near the island.  This is relevant for how far away from the island to locate any water intake system so that representative Bering Strait water can be pumped ashore for analysis.
